European Commission - 3D-holoshow Speech, Brussels
The event marketing giant, Media-Consulta, came to activ8-3D in September 2010 looking to bring an awe-inspiring, futuristic technology to the Brussels 2010 European Commission conference. As one of the leading speakers was unable to attend the October 5th event, Media-Consulta looked to activ8-3D to produce a 3D holographic projection where the speaker appeared at the conference virtually.
activ8-3D offered an all-inclusive, highly cost effective hologram event package that turned out to be the perfect solution to the clients needs. The project confirmation came within 2 weeks of the show date. activ8-3D pulled out all of the stops to produce this show in such a short lead time.
The head of activ8-3D film production flew to Brussels where he filmed the European Commissioner with a specially set up equipment and studio. The video file was then edited back in London. The activ8-3D animation team worked on 2 spinning logos for the event, which were added to the 3D holographic content in post-production.
The 7 strong activ8-3D team constructed the stage set up and installed the AV equipment the day before the show. This included the aluminium truss, HD projector, lighting and 3D-holofilm.
The show itself was a great success. The European Commissioner was beamed onto the stage to welcome the 300 plus audience to the conference. The attendees were truly wowed by the 3D holographic effect, which had never before been seen at the European Commission.
