Home owners from all over the UK flocked to see the prestigious Ideal Home Show exhibition at Earls Court in London this year. Holographic projection specialists’ activ8-3D were in attendance to show visitors their futuristic 3D hologram display.

The exhibition, which took place between March 20th and April 5th 2010 featured eight different sections dedicated to various home ideas including food, gardening and the ‘Home of the Future’. The event organisers were keen to portray how 3D displays will soon become a common household item; and enlisted the help of the activ8-3D team to produce a 3D hologram projection showing a futuristic display of how technology in the home will evolve.

The impressive display was run every half an hour over the 16 day exhibition and attracted hundreds of visitors who were curious about how living will evolve and was hailed by some as the best attraction of the entire exhibition thanks to the 3D display from activ8-3D. “Visitors left the exhibition with a lasting impression from the holographic display and some foresight into the future of their home”.
